Bio
I am a Research Software and IT Engineer at the Biomedical Research and Training Centre (BioRTC), where I design and develop digital infrastructure and software systems that support biomedical research, data management, and institutional operations. My work focuses on building scalable research platforms, data systems, and software tools that enable researchers and administrative teams to efficiently collect, manage, and analyze scientific and operational data.
I hold a degree in Computer Science from Yobe State University and have over a decade of experience in software engineering, system architecture, and research computing. In addition to my role at BioRTC, I serve as an Assistant Lecturer at CAMTECH Potiskum, where I contribute to teaching and mentoring students in computer science and applied computing.
My professional interests extend into scientific computing and computational neuroscience, where I participate in advanced training programs and contribute to the development of computational models and simulation systems used in research. I am also the creator of EasyBite, an experimental programming language ecosystem, together with the Bitely package manager, reflecting my broader interest in programming language design and developer tooling.
