BioRTC sponsored Muktar Lawan’s training on Hyperspectral Imaging and Phasor Analysis at the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo in Uruguay.

Biomedical Science Research and Training Centre Team just concluded a productive meeting with the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo team in preparation for @Mukhtar Lawan’s upcoming visit to Uruguay!

Mukhtar is a Research Assistant at BioRTC working in Dr. Mahmoud Bukar Maina’s group. He will be spending 2.5 months at the Advanced Bioimaging Unit, Institut Pasteur de Montevideo, under the supervision of Prof. Leonel Malacrida.

In addition to building Mukhtar’s skills, this visit will foster the development of research collaboration between Dr. Maina and Prof. Malacrida’s teams on liquid-liquid phase separation. This exciting partnership originated during the CZI Imaging Community meetings, where Dr. Maina and Prof. Malacrida connected. We are excited about this developing partnership, which will undoubtedly advance bioimaging research in our community and beyond.
